First touch
HOF's earliest posters
HOF's old logo
Several months and many successful events after came covid-19, and we had to resort to radio events and online meet parties, in which we agreed to uplift the brand and give it a distinct look and feel especially the digital posters. (old logo and identity was still in rotation) We also have collaborated with a local online radio called micro radio and had a consistent thing with them for a while.

The New HOF
The time has come, the new identity roll out. We had discussed where the business was heading and it was decided that House of Afandi isnt going to confine itself in a niche but rather something broader and more sophisticated. A whole plan was laid out to sign with local and international music producers and up and coming and artist as well as event DJ bookings, and with that we the brand had to evolve with the business.
The initial thought process was to move broader than funk and disco, a more engulfing, electronic music and most specifically house music. I then started thinking about records and how we invloved vinyl in alot of our poster designs, so it was only natural to have them on the logo.
The colors were also inspired by previous works that were veering towards flamboyant colors like pink and purple and i thought they represented the night life. As for the fonts the only style that made sense was a font that had presence and demanded attention without being too obnoxious and could possibly stick any title.
